CONDARIA EXPANDS HVAC RANGE AT SEATEC

Dometic Marine's Condaria confirms its position as a leading International HVAC solution supplier with the launch of several new products at this year's Seatec. Each product was designed in response to industry needs such as ease of installation and maintenance, environmental compliance and space maximisation.

The new Condaria PCWMLT Chiller is a more compact version of the company's current PCWM Chiller series and its smaller footprint will ensure efficient, cost-effective installation and maintenance. It features a robust stainless steel structural frame and sturdy cupronickel seawater circuit. It has a built-in circulation pump and is available with user-intuitive digital control systems as standard that display an ongoing system status.

The new PCWMLT series ranges from 24,000 to 324,000 BTUs with each model available with two or four compressors.

Also on show is a new R410A engineered Microchiller Series which has key components such as the circulation pump, pressure gauge and drain pan pre-plumbed and included as standard to provide a more efficient and cost-effective installation.

BTU capacity of the new series ranges from 16,000 to 24,000 suitable for vessels of 10 metres (32ft) and above. Individual modules can be added to each Microchiller to provide additional BTU capacity as specified and these can be made available with or without the pressure gauge and fill assembly components.

Maximising on-board space is an ongoing issue and companies are constantly challenged by OEMs to provide smaller, more efficient solutions. Where ducting space is restricted, two smaller tubes are sometimes specified instead of a single larger unit and the new low-profile Condaria Twin Air Handler has been designed to manage these two tubes. As smaller tubes are less likely to be squashed in the ducting, air flows more freely and cooling and heating of the cabin spaces is more efficient.

The compact-footprint Twin Air Handler has two high-pressure ventilators mounted on low-profile four-row cooling coils that maximise moisture removal. The stainless steel drain pan includes dual condensate discharge points so that water can be easily and conveniently discharged. The air handlers connect to mechanical or digital thermostats and can be controlled via the vessel's central control system or by guests in the cabin. 12,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU models can be specified.

If required the company's own engineers will assist client installations by reviewing architects' or technicians' drawings prior to build.
